The Scriptures
The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of
God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct (II Timothy 3:15-17; I Thessalonians
2:13; II Peter 1:21).
The One True God
The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent I AM, the Creator of the universe
and the Redeemer of mankind (Deuteronomy 6:4; Exodus 3:14; Isaiah 43:10-11). God has further
revealed Himself as a triune Being manifested as Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Isaiah 48:16; Matthew
28:19; Luke 3:22).
The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ
The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God and as such shares in the divinity and deity of God
(Matthew 1:23; John 5:22-23; II John 3; Hebrews 1:1-3).
Original Sin and the Fall of Man
Man was created good and upright, for God said,"...Let us make man in our image after our likeness..."
(Genesis 1:26). The first man, Adam through disobedience fell from the grace of God, and thus, sin
entered into the world and death by sin. Adam's transgression incurred not only physical death for
man but also spiritual death, which is eternal separation from God (Genesis 2:17; 3:6-24). Man's
propensity to sin because of his sinful nature necessitates salvation from the power of sin and a
Savior to provide that salvation (Romans 5:17-21).
The Salvation of Man
Man's only hope of redemption and salvation from the power of sin is through the shed blood of the
Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12; Romans 5:8-13, 10:9; James 1:21; Ephesians 2:8). The new birth is
necessary to all men, and when fulfilled, it produces eternal life (John 3:3-5; II Corinthians 7:10; I John
5:12).
Water Baptism
The ordinance of baptism by immersion in water is commanded in the Scriptures. All who repent
of their sins and believe in Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized. This is a declaration to the
world that they identify with Christ in His death and have been raised with Him in newness of life
(Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 10:47-48; Romans 6:4).
The Lord's Supper or Holy Communion
The Lord's Supper, consisting of the elements - the bread and the cup of the fruit of the vine - is the
symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (II Peter 1:4)., a memorial
of His suffering and death (I Corinthians 11:260, and a prophecy of His Second Coming (I Corinthians
11:26) and is enjoined on all believers till He comes.
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit
The baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking with
other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4). With the baptism in the Holy Spirit comes
the enduement of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts or enablement's of the Holy
Spirit and their uses in the ministry of the Body of Christ (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4,8; I Corinthians 12:1-31).
This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the new birth (Acts 8:12-17, 10:44-46, 11:14-15,
15:7-9).
Sanctification
The Bible teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord. We believe in the doctrine of
sanctification as a definite yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration
and continuing until the consummation of salvation (Hebrews 12:14, I Thessalonians 5:23; II Peter
3:18; I Corinthians 1:30; II Corinthians 3:18; Philippians 3:12-14).
Divine Healing
Divine healing was provided for all in the Old Testament (Exodus 15:22-26; Psalm 103:1-3; Isaiah
53:4-5) and is an integral part of the Gospel (Matthew 8:16-17; Acts 5:16; James 5:14-16).
The Church and Its Mission
The Church has a mission to seek and save all who are lost in sin. We believe 'the Church' is the Body
of Christ and consists of people who, throughout time, have accepted God's offer of redemption
(regardless of religious denomination) through the sacrificial death of His son Jesus Christ. (Ephesians
1:22-23, 2:22; Hebrews 12:23).
The Ministry and Evangelism
A divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for a two fold
purpose: (1) The evangelization of the world, and (2) The edifying of the Body of Christ (Mark 16:
15-20; Ephesians 4:11-13).
The Second Coming or Blessed Hope
The Second coming is when Jesus raptures His Church prior to His return to earth. At this
future moment in time all believers who have died will rise from their graves and will meet the
Lord in the air, and Christians who are alive will be caught up with them, to be with the Lord
forever (I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Romans 8:23; Titus 2:13; I Corinthians 15:51-52).
The Millennial Reign of Christ
The Millennial reign of Christ starts when Jesus returns with His saints at His second coming
and begins His rule over the earth for 1,000 years. At that time many in the nation of Israel
will recognize and accept Him as the Messiah, the Savior who died for them and all mankind
(Zechariah 14:5; Matthew 24:27,30; Revelation 1:7, 19:11-14, 20:1-6).
The Final Judgment
The Final Judgment will take place for those who have rejected Christ. They will be judged for
their sin and consigned to eternal punishment in the Lake of Fire ( Matthew 25:46; Mark
9:43-48; Revelation 19:20, 20:11-15, 21:8).
The New Heavens and New Earth
We, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth that Christ is preparing for
all people, of all time, who have accepted Him. We will live and dwell with Him there forever
following His millennial reign on Earth. 'And so shall we forever be with the Lord!' (2 Peter 3:13;
Revelation 21:22).
