Launching Into a Brand New Mission Field

Dear Friends & Family,

Ginger and I have a bittersweet announcement to share with you. Part of our Christ For The Nations family, Dr. Rod and Celeste Groomer, are transitioning from working full time in our headquarters to returning to the mission field.

Rod and Celeste met at CFNI as students in 1984. Over the past 30 years, they raised a family and served the Lord as pastors and missionaries in many different places. In 2000, the Lord brought them back to Christ For The Nations, eventually serving as Director (Rod) and Assistant Director (Celeste) of the International Ministries, providing essential support to the ministry. Recently, Rod and Celeste shared with us a new vision God has given them…partnering with us to plant satellite CFNI campuses among Native Americans across the United States.

For the past five years, the Lord has placed the Native Americans of the U.S. specifically on their hearts. The plight of hopelessness and the lack of discipleship and Bible training among the next generation of Native American leaders compelled them to design an “out of the box” training that will incorporate videotaped classes from our anointed CFNI faculty, live streamed classes and on-site teachers to comprise a school that has CFNI Holy Spirit-empowered DNA in it!

In this new season, God is calling this couple to leave what is comfortable and secure, and to embrace something much bigger than them. They shared their mission statement with us: Attempt something so big that unless God intervenes, it is bound to failWhen we heard the passion God has given to them for training and discipling Native Americans, we had to be part of making this vision come to pass.

Opportunities are opening for them to reach Native Americans in Utah, New Mexico, Minnesota and Oklahoma. But Ginger and I need your support to make this happen. We want to invite you to partner with Rod and Celeste in this CFNI Initiative.

There are 565 federally recognized Native American tribes in America. That’s a very big mission field, with an unlimited amount of potential—literally a sleeping giant that has only now begun to awaken. Their plans are big because the potential is enormous!

We are excited to empower the Groomers to take CFNI Bible Training to a ready and waiting mission field—the First Nations People of America. Would you partner with us to ensure that the next generation of Native American leaders will be trained and this plentiful harvest reaped?

Your support always makes a difference. Thank you for helping us to launch the Groomers into this brand new mission field.

May God richly bless you,
Dennis and Ginger Lindsay
