Jocelyn T. - Asia
Jocelyn is a 27 year-old, single, young woman from
administrative and accounting skills.
Jocelyn has ministered as a missionary in Asia on
three separate occasions; one being a six-month stay.
During her six-month stay she served at a
coffee/bakery shop. Jocelyn worked at the shop,
teaching accounting to a Asian worker in 2006. The
shop helps poor Asian families break the cycle of
debt, find employment and have a new start in life.
They do this by offering full time jobs and
temporary housing to individuals and families. The
employees of the shop once lived on the streets, but
because of the shop, they have been presented with
the good news and are offered jobs in order to live
stable lives.
Student ministry—she will lead group discussions in
English with Asian college students, lead student
activities such as visiting orphanages, aids homes
and assisting in other community projects.
Relational outreach is the goal of these activities.
